What’s happening at The Beacon … and other places

Pause and Pray – for Havant Borough
Second Monday evening every month at 6pm

Pause and Pray is an invitation to every church in the Borough of Havant to come together once a month for one hour to pray in unity for our area. We meet together on the second Monday of each month from 6 to 7pm in different churches around the Borough – here are the venues for the next few months:

  • August: no meeting
  • September 9th: St Francis Church, Riders Lane, Leigh Park
  • October 14th: Hart Plain Church, 59 Hart Plain Avenue, Waterlooville

Saturday Socials
Saturday 10th August from 3pm: at Staunton Country Park

This is an opportunity for all those who come to The Beacon for our various groups or church to come together to eat and have fun.  This time we are holding a Saturday afternoon picnic at Staunton Country Park meeting below the garden wall and steps. There will food and games!  Families welcome.

NB The next Saturday evening social will be on October 19th at The Beacon with food and a quiz.

Men’s Breakfast
Saturday 7th September, 9th November from 9am: at The Beacon

An opportunity for men to get together for a cooked breakfast and conversation together every other month.  All men welcome!
