Current Sunday Meetings

We have restarted Sunday morning church meetings at The Beacon once again. The meetings are shorter than before – from 11am to 12noon – and face masks will need to be worn throughout.  To ensure there is space for you, please book in by Friday morning each week on events@beaconchurchhavant.org.uk or by ringing the church office on 023 92470167. Visitors are welcome!

You can find recordings of our Sunday morning meetings on the Messages page for those who were unable to attend or would like to listen again. You can also see our Sunday videos which we made during lockdown on our YouTube channel.

Sunday Meetings in ‘normal’ times

When more of the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted, we will return to meeting at The Beacon from 10.30am on Sunday mornings for our main meeting together as a church family each week. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to feel at home!

What will happen on a Sunday morning?

Most weeks our meeting time will last 90 minutes and be divided into 3 parts which may happen in any order!

  1. Praise and Worship; led by our Worship Group. You can find out more about this here.
  2. Preaching; brought by a number of regular speakers and sometimes a visitor from another church.
  3. Time for the Body; where we encourage everyone to take part in praying for or blessing one another across the church family. This takes a different form each week.

After the meeting, hot & cold drinks are served in our lounge to make a time to sit down and talk to one another.  Once a month we stay on for lunch together.

For the Children

We want children to feel a full part of our church family so they stay with us for most of our meeting time. Parents are encouraged to worship with their children ensuring they are safe and supervised.

During the preaching time, children aged 11 and under are able to go into the Small Hall for their own time of teaching and creative activities.
