We meet on Sunday mornings at 10.30am for about 75 minutes followed by tea and coffee together. Children’s church takes place during the preaching time for children aged 11 or under.
We continue to ensure that our Sunday morning church meetings at The Beacon are a safe place for all to come. Seating groups are arranged with some social distance between them and our heating system provides good ventilation from outside the hall. Face coverings are now optional and we respect those who want to continue wearing one.
Visitors are always welcome and encouraged to feel at home!
You can find recordings of recent Sunday morning messages on the Messages page for those who were unable to attend or would like to listen again.
What will happen on a Sunday morning?
Our meetings include:
- Praise and Worship; led by our Worship Group. You can find out more about this here.
- Preaching; brought by a number of regular speakers and sometimes a visitor from another church.
- Some weeks we will also take time to pray for and bless one another across the church family. This takes a different form each time, but often includes taking bread and wine as Communion together.
After the meeting, hot & cold drinks are served in our lounge to make a time to sit down and talk to one another.
For the Children
We want children to feel a full part of our church family so they stay with us during the praise & worship part of our meeting. Parents are encouraged to worship with their children ensuring they are safe and supervised. Tables are provided at the rear of the meeting for families of younger children to sit together.
In the second half of the meeting, children aged 11 and under are able to go out into the Small Hall for their own time of teaching and creative activities during the preaching time.
