Although legal Covid-19 restrictions have now been lifted we continue to ensure that our Sunday morning church meetings at The Beacon are a safe place for all to come. For now we are keeping the meetings to about one hour starting at 11am. Different seating areas are available for those who want to socially distance and wear a face covering – and for those who are happy to sit together with a few others. Booking in for Sunday mornings is no longer required but the NHS Track and Trace QR code is available by the main door for those who want to ‘check in’.
You can find recordings from our Sunday morning meetings on our Messages page, for those who were unable to attend or would like to listen again. Also check out any videos on our YouTube channel.
Beacon Lounge is now open again from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 10am to 2pm, and Beacon Food Bank continues to support all in need of emergency food and supplies on referral. Hamper collections continue to be from the service yard on North Street, next to Wilko’s store – between 10am and 12.30pm weekdays.
We have taken all the actions recommended by Government Covid-19 Guidelines at The Beacon as a place of worship, community building and a food & drink outlet. The Beacon is available for small group meetings and outside hirers by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org.
